Guests dazzled at Irish themed tea party
The school hall was beautifully decorated and it was all thanks to the amazing mothers and learners who spent their Friday afternoon decorating tables to fit the Irish theme.
WATERFALL College’s Annual High Tea event this year was again a unique fund-raising event, presented with a St Patrick’s Day theme.
There were more than 100 guests who were entertained by Simply Models, Tessa Green’s ‘WOW’ (Woman of Worth) talk and there were many lucky draw prizes from generous sponsors.

Grade 12 learner, Brooklyn Webster, said learners were tasked with bringing in jars filled with something a lady might like.
“The contents of the jars ranged from jellybeans, beverages and crafts to meal ideas. They were presented as prizes on the day, which meant that nobody went home empty handed.
“The school hall was beautifully decorated and it was all thanks to the amazing mothers and learners who spent their Friday afternoon decorating tables to fit the Irish theme. The outcome was spectacular. We even had numerous ‘life-size’ leprechauns,” said Webster.’
Waterfall College sent out a huge thank you to Tanya Webster and Tracey Done who truly took the day in their stride and poured their hearts into ensuring the event was a complete success.
In addition to these large flagship events, there have been regular cake sales and even a movie night to raise funds for the school.
