Learners ‘eggstatic’ over Easter treats
Two creche's in the Valley of 1 000 Hills were visited by Hillcrest Corner staff for Easter and delicious treats were handed to the learners.
HILLCREST Corner recently donated delicious Easter eggs to the children under the care of Focus on iThemba.
Focus on iThemba is an NPO rooted in growing hearts and minds from an early age. Believing in the power of education and early childhood development (ECD), the organisation currently works alongside eight creches in the Valley of 1000 Hills to ensure that tomorrow’s generation gets the best head start.

With the help of the community, friends and donors, the team is made up of dedicated, kind and passionate individuals, who believe that every child deserves a chance to have a bright future.
One of the teachers thanked Hillcrest Corner for helping to put a smile on each child’s face with the Easter egg donation. One of the learners shyly commented, “Thank you very, very much.”
“Hillcrest Corner was deeply inspired by the beautiful children at two of the crèches, Entokozweni Creche and Siyabaphephisa Creche that Focus on iThemba partners with and also by the selfless and life-changing work the team performs on a daily basis,” said, Bev Wilson, the Hillcrest Corner’s centre manager.
