A cheque of R 185 933 was handed over to Jes Foord Foundation following a successful fundraiser.
THE annual golf day hosted to support Jes Foord Foundation (JFF) was a success as almost R200 000 was raised on the day.
The fund-raiser was hosted at the Kloof Country Club on Friday, 25 May.
Trish Gillepsie from the Jes Foord Foundation said the golf day is the foundation’s biggest fund-raiser which they always look forward to.

“The money raised this year will go towards our 2018 awareness programme where we will be speaking to 110 000 learners around the province.
“The Jes Foord Foundation teaches young children the value of a woman and that no means no. Other funds will go towards our trauma counselling for sexually abused people and their families,” explained Gillepsie.
She conveyed their gratitude to the Hughes family for hosting the golf day in aid of the foundation.
“We also thank everyone who supported us on the day,” she said.
