Pinetown Girls’ promote education

Teachers came to school wearing school uniforms and the cleaning staff were given food parcels organised by the school's RCL.

Pinetown Girls’ High School strongly believes in the power of education and to celebrate Mandela’s legacy, teachers went to school on Friday, 20 July wearing a school uniform.

Principal of the school, Sibongile Njapha, said they are driven by one of Mandela’s quote, ‘Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world’.

To make this a memorable day, the school RCL organised food parcels for the cleaning staff.

“The teachers and learners contributed to this wonderful initiative which is the spirit of giving that Mandela stood for,” said Njapha.Pinetown Girls’ teachers promoting the power of education, spirit of giving and multi-racialism to commemorate Mandela Day.
