Putt with purpose at annual Sunflower Fund golf day
Players can expect a fabulously fun day as they swing into action for a great cause.
THE fairway has been cleared for the 13th annual Sunflower Fund golf day on Tuesday, 24 July at the Mount Edgecombe Country Club.
The cost per four-ball is R 2800. This includes a goodie bag, green fees as well as dinner. The format is a four-ball alliance, two scores to count and the top 20 teams will receive prizes. A tote box of golfers’ favourites will be the main raffle prize and the Fund would gratefully welcome the sponsorship of beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and snacks (biltong, crisps, chocolates, nuts).
Funds raised from the Golf Day will help The Sunflower Fund create awareness and education about blood stem cell donation, recruit more blood stem cell donors, grow the patient support fund and maintain a registry of committed donors.
