In addition to the R 10 000, John Wesley learners donated pens to the home which were gifted to them from BIC Pens road show crew.

JOHN Wesley School raised an amazing R10 000 on behalf of Tennyson House in 2017/2018 as part of the school’s social responsibility initiative.

Tennyson House is a shelter and temporary home for street children, in and around the city of Durban, that works with children, youth and families struggling with poverty and unhealthy lifestyles.

The intention is to provide prevention and early intervention programmes to preserve the family structure.
