A kitty calendar with a ‘paw’pose

The Cats of Durban calendars are the perfect festive gift for anyone who loves cats!

LYNNE McMaster, an image consultant, stylist and speaker of DRESS South Africa, was thrilled to be chosen as a 2019 Compass Cares Cats of Durban calendar ambassador.

Her love for clothes, fashion and cats started at a young age with her first kitten, ironically named Cotton.

“Growing up we always had cats. They adopted us, simply arrived on our door steps and made themselves at home. I loved their unique characters and personalities. Please join me in supporting this very worthy cause,” said Lynne.

“I have purchased the Cats of Durban calendar every year since its inception and just love them and more importantly, the cause the campaign represents and supports,” she explained.

All money raised goes to the NPO, Cats of Durban, to be used for the sterilisation of stray and feral cats to curb the plight of unwanted and abused kittens.

The theme for the 2019 A3 calendar is ‘Working Cats’ with corresponding quotes focused on working together and teamwork featured on each page.

Photographer, Brendan Bromfield, captured stray or feral cats that found their homes at schools, businesses and retail outlets.

The cats have become part of the organisations they adopted and are now loved and adored by staff, customers, suppliers and visitors alike.

Lynne encouraged individuals and businesses to buy the calendar for R150 each as a Christmas present or as an end-of-year gift from www.compasswasteservices.co.za/calendars.
