Hillcrest High coach soars to new level

This is a great achievement and a reward for the work Dusty has put in at Hillcrest High School and grassroots rugby in KZN.

HILLCREST High School’s rugby coach, Dusty Noble, was recently appointed as assistant coach of the 2019 Sharks Craven week team.

This is a great achievement and a reward for the work Dusty has put in at Hillcrest High School and grassroots rugby in KZN.

“I am excited about this opportunity because it gives me the chance to measure myself against the best in the country in terms of the other coaches and also challenge me as a coach, as I’ll be working with the top talent in the country.”

According to Hillcrest High School’s Nicky Kidgell, this should serve as motivation for any co-educational school (coach or player), that the doors are open to coach and play with the best and with Dusty’s appointment Hillcrest High school’s rugby will certainly benefit.

“I will be able to give back hugely to our school from this experience. Hopefully this serves to highlight and is positive motivation to other co-educational rugby school coaches, or players, within KZN that they can compete with the best.

“Our boys can be confident that the standard of coaching they are being exposed to is right up there with the top rugby schools in the province. I look forward to developing rugby in the upper highway area and to using all my knowledge to take Hillcrest High rugby forward and grow it from strength to strength,” he added.
