HOPELANDS Cancer Centre has pioneered groundbreaking, advanced cancer treatment technology that is a first in sub-Saharan Africa and a life changing option for cancer patients.
The cancer unit, situated at the Busamed Hillcrest Private Hospital, has two consultation rooms, a chemotherapy room and a radiotherapy room, and opened its doors last year.
According to Dr Ziad Seedat, managing director of the Hopelands Group, the treatment unit is equipped with the Halcyon system, Varian Medical System’s newest device for cancer treatment.
