Talented Ashley learner draws in prize
The money will go towards refurbishing the school jungle gym and buying more benches.
ASHLEY Primary’s Baipelo Modikoe’s drawing won the school a whopping R30 000, courtesy of Liberty Life.
The Liberty Life drawing competition required a learner to draw a picture of what they would like to be when they grow up. Baipelo’s picture won R300 and went into a lucky draw.
The Grade 5 learner said she drew a picture of a businesswoman because that is what she would like to be when she grows up.

“I want to own a spa when I grow up and have enough money to take care of my family,” said Baipelo with a sweet smile.
She said she spent the R300 she won to buy nice things for herself and her family.
Acting principal, Kamala Naicker, said the school is so proud of Baipelo and the money will come in handy.
“We will refurbish the foundation phase jungle gym and add more benches for the senior primary learners’ eating field. Thank you to Liberty Life for providing the school with the opportunity to enter our learners into this competition.”
