AN inspirational breakfast to remind women of their worth was hosted on campus by The IIE’s Varsity College Westville.

Coordinated by Celeste Grant, career centre coordinator on campus, this networking event was attended by staff members and women from companies The IIE’s Varsity College collaborates with.

Although the event focussed on women and their worth. The guest speaker and founder of Imbizo Foundation SA, Mthoko Shange, offered a refreshing view. During his heart-warming presentation of women and their value in society, and he shared the quote: ‘My son, you are not the product of your past, but the function of what you hope to be tomorrow’ by his mother Jabulile Shange.
