UPDATE: Winston Park fatal hit-and-run case postponed

The suspect will reappear on 17 February, 2020.

THE case about a Winston Park man, who was fatally hit by a car during his morning jog on the morning of 8 June, has been postponed to 17 February, 2020.

The suspect will reappear at the Pinetown Magistrate’s Court, A Court.

According to KZN police spokesperson, Cpt Nqobile Gwala, the body of a 36-year-old-man was found on the side of Jan Smuts Road after he was hit by a vehicle.

The 43-year-old suspect was arrested for failing to report an accident and a case of culpable homicide was opened and investigated by Hillcrest SAPS.
