Headway-Natal’s athletes make a splash
Patients from Headway-Natal, based in Westville, made their way to the Westville Swimming Pool to compete in the annual gala.
WITH a colourful theme of flamingos and flowers, Headway-Natal’s eager members competed in the annual gala at Westville Swimming Pool recently.
The guest of honour was Chad Ho, an open water world champion and gold medalist. “To have the opportunity to come out today and see the joy Headway-Natal’s members get from the sport that I love is fantastic. It is always a great feeling to be able to give back,” he said.

The non-profit organisation’s manager, Colleen Marais, thanked guests, the 31 Club, volunteers, competitors, therapists, staff and Westville Swimming Pool for their continued and ongoing support.
