Durban Festival of Chariots postponed due to Coronavirus
The organisers look forward to sharing new dates and plans for the festival soon.

DUE to the ongoing Coronavirus crisis the organisers of the Durban Festival of Chariots has decided to postponed the event.

This comes after President Cyril Ramaphosa’s announcement on Sunday that gatherings with more than 100 people are prohibited, due to the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak.
“The decision has been taken in careful consultation with all stakeholders, who place the health and safety of local and international guests, participants and the greater community as top priority,” said a statement released by the festival’s organisers.

The festival was to take place during the Easter weekend.
