Support annual Santa Shoebox Project

Share the gift of happiness this festive season through the Shoebox Project.

JOIN Ainsworth Attorneys Inc. and support the annual Santa Shoebox Project. The project collects and distributes personalised gifts for underprivileged children throughout the country.

“The success of the project can largely be attributed to its personal nature. Donors give gifts of essential items and treats to children whose names, ages and genders are known. The minimum eight required items are a toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, a wash cloth, sweets, a toy, school supplies and an outfit of clothing – all new, unused and age-appropriate,” said the director of Ainsworth Attorneys Inc., Shelley Ainsworth.

This year, the Santa Shoebox Project aims to reach its one millionth shoebox donated and millionth child to receive their shoebox.

Companies and/or individuals who are interested in pledging a Santa Shoebox are urged to visit the project’s website, create a profile and choose to make up a shoebox for a boy or girl.

“Once registered on the site, and when pledging, elect the Durban Central location option as this is the location that we will be dropping off all of the donated shoeboxes on your behalf,” added Ainsworth.

Shoeboxes must be dropped off before Thursday, 5 November at the Ainsworth Attorneys’ Upper Highway office at My Office, Block 6, MRM Office Park, 10 Village Road in Kloof.

The donations, together with the team’s donated shoeboxes, will then be delivered to the Durban Central collection point. “It is a privilege to support such an amazing organisation and the wonderful work they do in bringing joy to the youth of our country,” said Ainsworth.
