WATCH: Bakkie rolls on M19 near Pinetown, multiple injuries

Emergency services are on scene and are stabilising the patients.

MULTIPLE commuters were injured when a bakkie rolled on the M19 towards Pinetown, near the Otto Volek Road offramp this morning.

According to Andreas Mathios, the bakkie, which was pulling a trailer and carrying staff members, crashed at one of the sharp bends along the busy road.

Mathios said the M19 into Pinetown has been reduced to one lane and traffic has been severely affected. A helicopter was called in to airlift a patient to hospital. The M19 out of Pinetown was closed for the helicopter to land.
