CURRO Hillcrest’s matric prize-giving was an evening celebration of academic achievement and, despite the academic challenges posed by the uncertainty of an unusual school year, its Grade 12 learners worked with grit and determination to produce an admirable set of portfolio results.
“This year’s batch of matriculants worked with a sense of purpose and maturity in grappling with real world challenges with resilience and tenacity. They are to be congratulated on these preliminary results and encouraged to continue to work in the approach to their final examinations with similar fortitude. Maintaining such a high academic standard will need consistent and persistent engagement and revision,” said the school’s marketing officer, Carla-Jess McDonald.
