Have your say on Kloof cell tower installation

An application has been made to install a cellphone tower in Ronalds Road in Kloof.

RESIDENTS in the Outer West area have until Tuesday, 29 December to submit their written representations regarding the installation of a 25m tree mast.

An application has been made to the eThekwini Municipality, in terms of the eThekwini Municipality: Planning and Land Use Management By-law 2016 (municipal notice 114 or 2017) for the outer west scheme, for special consent for a 25m tree mast and base telecommunication transceiver station and building line relaxation from 75.m to nil (north-west) and relaxation of the side space from 3m to nil (north-east) on the remainder of the ERF 2188 Kloof, at 27 Ronalds Road, Kloof, on a site zoned as special residential 1800.

Members of the public are invited to lodge a written objection by 29 December: by hand to the Regional Co-ordinator: Outer West Region, Land Use Management Branch, Ground Floor, 22 Delamore Road, Hillcrest, or by email to jenisharamjith@durban.gov.za ad to the applicant at 19a Old Main Road, Gillitts, 3610.

Should you fail to lodge or forward objections to both parties by the aforementioned date, your objection will be invalid.
