Thieves steal all four tyres and a car battery in Sarnia
Blue Security advised owners of large properties to regularly conduct perimeter checks.
A SARNIA resident woke up to a costly situation on Sunday morning when he discovered all four tyres missing from his Mazda 3 as well as a battery from his Opel Corsa Lite.
Blue Security operations director, Brian Jackson said an armed response officer responded and found four separate cuts in the fence.
Jackson advised owners and people overseeing large properties to regularly conduct perimeter checks to ensure criminals do not have time to make a substantial enough breach.
“Criminals always find their way onto secure properties, and when they cannot leave with the vehicle, they take what they can get.
These include tyres, car batteries, or contents left in the vehicle, such as laptops, wallets and handbags,” he said.
