Cowies Hill’s young entrepreneur donates to charity
The eight-year-old makes colourful clip-on earrings and instead of popping her profits into a piggy bank, Sylke donates 100% of her profits to Once Upon a Time charity market.

WHAT started as an afternoon hobby quickly turned into a passion for Cowies Hill’s young entrepreneur, Sylke Bartels.
The eight-year-old makes colourful clip-on earrings and recently made her debut at the Once Upon a Time charity market in Pinetown.

Instead of popping her profits into a piggy bank, Sylke donates 100% of her profits to the charity store.
She plans on attending many more markets in the future and will continue to donate her profits to the worthy cause.
The next fundraiser market will be held on Saturday, October 30 at the Pineville Junction from 10:00 to 14:00. To book a stall, contact Benita on 072 213 7250.
