Young beauty hopes to claim the crown

Nosihle Mzolo strives to represent South Africa next year as a finalist at the Miss Teen Universe South Africa pageant.

NINE-YEAR-OLD Nosihle Mzolo from Pinetown has been selected as a semi-finalist for Miss Teen Universe South Africa pageant. The competition is renowned worldwide, and Noshile is one of the qualifiers from the preteen category for young children from nine to 12 years old.

According to the young beauty, she has competed in eight pageants so far and has obtained about 13 sashes.

“I started entering competitions in January 2020, and due to the Covid-19 pandemic, I then stopped until March 2021. My mother usually assists me in searching for competitions on Facebook and Instagram.”

Nosihle believes that pageants will always play a positive role in her life.

“Apart from helping me make new friends, pageants assist in building my self-discipline and self-confidence.”

According to Nosihle, she strives to use the platform to empower people and give back to less fortunate communities.

Nosihle asked the community to kindly vote for her so she can qualify for the final round of the prestigious competition.

“I would really appreciate the support, and this is the part that will determine whether I qualify as a finalist or not.
