School principal Nokubonga Ngubane explained that the school is reviving its sporting culture to enhance the learners’ overall learning experience.

“To start this journey, we thought it would be a good idea to revive the court, our only sports facility, which was kindly donated to us years ago. We aim to renovate it so our learners can participate in sports,” she said.

Ngubane emphasised that, despite being a small school in a disadvantaged area, their goal is to provide quality education.

“Sport is an integral part of learning and contributes to learners’ overall well-being. We initiated sporting programmes, hosted a talent day and celebrated Women’s Day. The fundraiser was a success, and we’re planning more events.”
