New to the sport, the Impson brothers started training to get fit and stay healthy but soon fell in love with Jiu Jitsu. Coached by Prof Dave Verster of Lions Den in Westville, who is also the head of Carlson Gracie Jiu Jitsu Durban, the trio credits the competition for boosting their confidence.

“Competing against unknown opponents was nerve-racking, especially in our first competition,” they said.
Despite their journey being relatively new, the brothers are eager to continue gaining experience and confidence through competitions, already looking forward to the next event.
