Schroeder is a former parent at the school whose daughter attended the school from Playgroup to Class 12.
Known as an angel to many Embo elderlies, Schroeder feeds many families in the valley and gives gogos a chance to be grannies at least once a week.
“Carol is deeply cherished for her unwavering love and commitment to the Embo community. Her vision and compassion have been the driving force behind this beautiful partnership,” said the school’s marketer, Simone Welff.
On November 21, the Class Seven students had the privilege of visiting the Embo community.
The day was filled with warmth and connection as the students sang songs, shared smiles, and presented the food hampers they had lovingly packed.

“We are thankful for this experience as it instils the importance of the great universal law: in giving, there is receiving. A heartfelt thank you to Carol Schroeder for her dedication and to the gogos and mkhulus for welcoming us so warmly into their community,” said Roseway educator Wendy Zondi.
