When to visit Gillitts Travel Clinic?
Yellow fever is mandatory for certain South American and sub-Sahara African countries. Visitors to Saudi Arabia need Yellow Fever as well as Meningitis vaccinations. If you are visiting a developing country it is advisable to be up to date with the Tetanus and Hepatitis vaccine regardless of whether it is budget travel or an up-market resort chosen.

Dr Foster advises patients who will be travelling to seek medical advice at least two weeks before departure. He also says travel advice and vaccinations are personalised, because recommendations depend on place, time of the year, duration and type of trip. He says vaccinations can change frequently depending on current situations and two people travelling to the same destination can be advised differently on what vaccinations to consider.

The Gillitts Travel Clinic is open weekdays from 8:00 to 15:00, preferably by appointment, and is situated at 15 Old Main Road, Clifton Park, Gillitts.
You can phone 076 502 9951 for an appointment.
