ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson said they received a call just after 11:30 for help at a residence on Wellington Road in Westville North.

“On arrival, paramedics met with the gardener who informed the medics that he had arrived for work and could not gain access to the premises. He saw two occupants lying in a pool of blood on the dining room floor.

“ALS Paramedics gained entry into the house and found a male and a female, believed to be in their 80s, with fatal gunshot wounds. Unfortunately, both showed no signs of life and were declared deceased on the scene,” explained Jamieson.
