School festival celebrates art, music and community
Roseway Waldorf School was a hub of creativity, culture, and connection when the school hosted a much-anticipated annual Arts Festival.
ROSEWAY Waldorf School was a hub of creativity, culture, and connection when the school hosted its annual Arts Festival recently.
The audience listened to harmonious music from the Roseway Waldorf School Choir, soloists, the High School Band, Hillcrest High School, Atholl Heights Band, Kloof Senior Primary’s Choir and Bands, Joey Motsa Violin School, Westville Girls’ High School Choir, Danville Voices, Amagugu Singers, Carmen Rodrigues Vocal Studio, Atholl Voices, and the Celtic Heartbeat Academy, among many others.
The festival also showcased dance performances by Sheila Davidson School of Dance, Dance Direction, Floorcraft Line Dance, Chelsea Prep Hip Hop Dancers, and Amagugu Dancers, with additional excitement brought by Ballroom and Latin dance workshops.

The ‘I Am African’ art competition highlighted stunning creative pieces that captured the theme beautifully, leaving the judges in awe of the talent on display.

Adding to the vibrant atmosphere, live graffiti art brought an urban energy to the event, while craft vendors, delicious food stalls, and engaging workshops ensured there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Tractor rides delighted children and families alike, further enhancing the festival’s charm and appeal.
The school’s marketer, Simone Welff, said a celebration of this scale would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of their team.
