IN true Mzansi spirit where humour shows up no matter the occasion, social media users are cracking up at a viral video in which a driver on the M13 complains about this year’s Comrades Marathon signage for the run’s route.

The “formal complaint” made by the driver who identifies as Wilma is about the marathon’s yellow signage put up every year “because of you flippin’ runners”.

The complainant’s gripe is that roads are made for vehicles, that the signage causes litter, that runners on a daily run are causing disruptions on the road, and the people that want to train in preparation for the Comrades should “take your well-shaped bodies and just piss off, go to the Karoo and run there rather”.

Her advice to Comrades runners: “If you want to go and run and show off your muscular legs every year, go to the flippin’ Karoo or something.”
