Motorists are advised to use alternative routes following the closure of Stapleton Bridge.
MOTORISTS are urged to be cautious and follow detours following the closure of Stapleton Bridge.
In a post issued by the Stapleton Bridge Project site manager, it advised that the Stapleton Bridge crossing — connecting Sarnia and the King Cetshwayo Highway (M13) into Pinetown and New Germany — is now closed to all traffic due to structural instability and signs of collapse.
It further stated that for safety reasons, people should not attempt to cross the bridge.
