St Anne’s hosts with heart

The St Anne’s organisation’s motto is ‘Working for Families’ and the high tea is held to raise funds for underprivileged families and the church.

THE annual St Clement’s Catholic Church’s women’s organisation’s annual high tea on Saturday, September 20 was once again a success.

The guests did not disappoint as they came out in numbers dressed in their finest vintage attire.

The St Anne’s organisation’s motto is ‘Working for Families’ and the high tea is held to raise funds for underprivileged families and the church.

St Anne’s chairperson Thuli Majozi said their executive extended its gratitude to the people that supported the fundraiser.

“We would like to thank our parish priest, Fr. Melusi Zaca for his support. We are also thankful to the parish as a whole, our guests who came from around Durban.”

The speakers for the day were Nonhlanhla Ngcobo from Lamontville, Bongi Shangase from Wyebank and Lungile Gasela from Newlands East, who gave moving and motivational speeches while empowering the guests.
