Kearsney water polo team on a golden roll

Kearsney College is proud of the school's water polo team which won its third gold medal in three consecutive weekends.

THE Kearsney College’s U14 water polo team is on a golden roll. The team secured its third gold medal, on three consecutive weekends.

They clinched the first gold medal after winning the local U15 tournament at Curro Hillcrest.

They won the second gold medal at the National U14 Rondebosch tournament in Cape Town, being the only KZN school to attend. This past weekend they took gold once again at the National U14 Hilton tournament.

Kearsney College’s Kai Terblanche was named player of the tournament.

Kearsney finished top in their pool group, beating Jeppe 20-1; they lost on penalties to Michaelhouse 12-11 (9-9) and beat Bishops 9-7.
In the quarter-final Kearsney beat Wynberg 6-3; Clifton 7-4 in semi-final and Rondebosch 7-5 in the final.

Kearsney’s Cai Terblanche was named player of the tournament at this past weekend’s tournament.
