THE Queensburgh Cheshire Home is looking for vendors for its market which takes place at the home on October 25 from 08:30 to 13:00.
Speaking to Queensburgh News, the manager of the home, Brian Rossenrode, said this is one of the many events hosted at the home that raises funds to assist with the operational costs and upkeep of the facility.
“We are looking for vendors who produce pickles and preserves, beauty product stockists, face painters, DIY kits, home decor, bits and bobs, arts and crafts, candy, hobbies and electronics,” he said.
He encouraged the community to support the event, and said there will be a large variety of items for visitors to browse through and live music to keep everyone entertained.

“All our shops will be open, including the white elephant, collectables, clothing, books, toys and plant shops. The focus is on products this time around, so there won’t be any food stall vendors allowed, but our tea garden will be serving delicious beverages and eats,” he said.
Rossenrode also encouraged individuals to visit the Charity Shop which is open every Tuesday and Friday from 08:00 to noon.
“If you have any items at home that are still in good, working condition and that you’d like to get rid of, drop them off at our offices,” he said. He added that the establishment is also in need of volunteers to assist each week at the various shops.
“With the school holidays underway, we welcome learners to volunteer a few hours of their time here. Adults are welcome too; just make an arrangement with management,” said Rossenrode.
