Young champs display exceptional soccer skills

It was a proud moment for Star College as the school's young athletes were part of the team that wo the U10 Greater Durban League 2025 cup.

SEVERAL Star College Primary boys were among the team that lifted the U10 Greater Durban League 2025 trophy recently.

The Grade Four learners, Aahan Devananan, Aarav Bridgmohan, Amarian Zayd Mahabeer and Kyran Naidoo represented Grasshopper Academy, a team under the banner of Chiltern FC.

The school’s marketing manager, Sara Hayden, said these young champs displayed outstanding skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the season.

“The boys faced tough competition during the league, with some matches challenging, but their resilience and determination led them to a well-deserved victory, finishing six points ahead of their rivals.

 

“One of the standout aspects of their performance was their excellent communication on the field, which contributed significantly to their team co-ordination and confidence. Their growth throughout the season has been inspiring, showcasing their courage, focus, and the spirit of true sportsmen,” said a proud Hayden.
