IN PICS: Headway Natal’s market a success

Headway-Natal's manager Colleen Maris extends a huge thank you to everyone that supported the market, once again making it a huge success.

HEADWAY-NATAL held its biggest market on Saturday, November 8, at their premises on 11 Menston Road, Westville.

It was a beautiful, sunny morning and attendees of Headway and members of the public came out in their numbers to enjoy the market vibes and get something delicious to eat and drink.

The smell of bacon and egg rolls and boerewors braaied over the open coals was irresistible.

The funds raised will assist survivors of acquired brain injury, stroke victims, and those caring for them, and to continue Headway’s services to the community.

With entertainment in the form of music provided by Sabelo and Rorke Hunter, and a wide variety of stallholders, attendees were spoiled for choice in the offerings of delicious food, crafts, home bakes, cappuccinos and other items.

The Tea Garden and Food Stalls were well supported.  There was a wide variety of outside stallholders in addition to the Headway Charity and Book Shops, offering various arts and crafts to browse through.

Headway-Natal manager Colleen Maris extended a huge thank you to everyone that supported the market and made it a huge success.

“All funds raised from this event will enable Headway to continue its service to the community,” said Maris.

Singer known as Sabelo provided musical entertainment.

Headway is a Non-profit Rehabilitation Centre assisting survivors of acquired brain injury, stroke victims, and those caring for them.

Headway’s Charity Shop is open Monday to Thursday 09:00 – 13:00.
