Hark! In-Car-Nation returns
Kloof's beloved drive-through nativity transforms the incarnation into an unforgettable experience this December.
KLOOF residents are invited to this year’s In-Car-Nation which returns this December with exciting twists.
The treasured community tradition will take place at the Kloof Baptist Church (KBC) from December 3 to 7 and families are invited to embark on a 30-minute immersive theatre journey that will touch hearts long after the final curtain call.
Kloof Baptist Church’s Amber Eayrs said this isn’t just another ‘no room at the inn’ story. It’s the true Christmas story as you’ve never experienced it before, right from the very Beginning in the Garden of Eden.
“We’re thrilled to present In-Car-Nation this year, with a touch of musical flare.
“Families will drive from station to station, engaging all five senses as they see, hear, feel, touch, and even smell the wondrous story of why we celebrate Christmas. It’s truly a holy night of entertainment for all ages,” said Eayrs.
The In-Car-Nation was started as a creative pandemic response in 2020 and has blossomed into a cherished annual tradition.
“Each year, KBC reimagines the incarnation story in fresh, dynamic ways. This year’s musical-inspired format promises ascending excitement as participants journey from Eden to Bethlehem, experiencing live performances, vibrant lights, and unforgettable moments along the way,” said Eayrs.
The event is free, but booking is essential. Shows run at 19:00, 19:30, 20:00, and 20:30 nightly. Book per car (not per occupant) at https://www.eventbrite.com/
