Water polo stars shine for KZN

Max Mills and James Whatmore were winners of the U16 age group, while Dru Mills and Cristiano Sandri took gold in the U15 age group.

KEARSNEY College’s water polo players performed exceptionally well at the Inter-Provincial Tournament in Johannesburg from December 6-10, with four players in teams which won their age groups, and Thomas Aylward named as the tournament’s best utility player and selected for the SA U19 schools team.

Max Mills and James Whatmore were winners of the U16 age group, while Dru Mills and Cristiano Sandri took gold in the U15 age group.

In addition, Aylward, Thomas Francke and Oliver Ludwig represented KZN in the U19 age group which finished third. Aylward, who captained the KZN team, was selected for the SA U19 schools team and named the tournament’s best utility player.
