Volunteers keep Kloof clean

The Kloof Project volunteers have been working hard to keep their village looking neat and welcoming. Recently, they gave the local signboards a good clean, which is just one example of their ongoing efforts to maintain the area's beauty.

THE Kloof Project volunteers recently spent time out in the village giving the local signboards a well-deserved clean, helping to keep Kloof area look neat, welcoming and well cared for.

Kerry Harper, a representative from The Kloof Project, said this hands-on effort is just one example of the ongoing work done by The Kloof Project Team, a small but dedicated group of community volunteers who share a passion for their village and take pride in maintaining its beauty.

“Their work reflects the power of community spirit and the difference a committed group of residents can make.”

“The Kloof Project is driven by volunteers who simply love where they live,” said committee member Kirsten King.

“Small actions like cleaning the village signboards all contribute to creating a place we can all be proud of.”

She encouraged residents to support the team, as it continues its mission of keeping Kloof clean, green and beautiful.

Sanelisiwe Tsinde

My name is Sanelisiwe Tsinde, and I'm a mother of two boys and very family-oriented. Being a community journalist for years, I can proudly say I love writing about positive community news articles and giving a voice to the voiceless. Seeing people getting assistance warms my heart. Every day is a different challenge and a new learning opportunity. I supply news for our trusted publication weekly, and a few years ago, Caxton ventured into online publication, so I contribute daily to the websites. I could say I am a multimedia journalist, and working in a community newspaper is beneficial as we do not focus on one thing but we do a bit of everything.
