No injuries after car crashes into Pavilion entrance

The general manager says the Pavilion Shopping Centre remains open and fully operational.

THE Pavilion Shopping Centre has confirmed that there were no injuries after a vehicle crashed into one of its entrances on Friday (March 13).

The centre’s general manage Vicky Deppe said the crash in the underground parking was a result of a driver losing control of their vehicle.

Deppe said the centre’s entrance and escalators were damaged by the crash.

“The incident was isolated and we can confirm that no injuries were reported. The affected area has been cordoned off to ensure the safety of our shoppers and staff while assessments are underway. The Pavilion Shopping Centre remains open and fully operational. The safety and well-being of our shoppers and staff is our highest priority, and we appreciate the public’s patience and understanding as we attend to this matter,” said Deppe.
