Watch: School celebrates 100 days of learning

The school went back in time, with learners and staff rocking 'oldies' costumes. Grey wigs, walking sticks, and vintage outfits stole the show.

CARE Bears Wonderland Pre-School celebrated its 100th day of school with excitement and creativity as learners and staff came dressed as “oldies”.

The school was beautifully and colourfully decorated with balloons and festive displays.

From grey wigs and walking sticks to vintage outfits and playful costumes, learners and staff embraced the theme with enthusiasm and imagination.

“Reaching 100 days of learning is a significant achievement, and we feel truly blessed to celebrate this landmark together. Over the past 100 days, we have witnessed incredible growth, curiosity, resilience, and determination in our learners.

“Their hard work and dedication have shone through in every classroom activity, creative project, and collaborative learning experience,” said Care Bears Wonderland principal Nila Ryan.

She added that this milestone is not only a celebration of the days that have passed but also of the friendships formed, lessons learned, and memories created along the way.

“We are proud of every learner’s progress and grateful to our dedicated staff who continue to inspire and guide them each day,” she said.

Sanelisiwe Tsinde

My name is Sanelisiwe Tsinde, and I'm a mother of two boys and very family-oriented. Being a community journalist for years, I can proudly say I love writing about positive community news articles and giving a voice to the voiceless. Seeing people getting assistance warms my heart. Every day is a different challenge and a new learning opportunity. I supply news for our trusted publication weekly, and a few years ago, Caxton ventured into online publication, so I contribute daily to the websites. I could say I am a multimedia journalist, and working in a community newspaper is beneficial as we do not focus on one thing but we do a bit of everything.
