Waterfall turned into a dumping site

"It is absolutely disgusting what has become of a very proud and clean little village ..."

EDITOR – We the residents living in Waterfall and are subjected to such filth and disarray.

It is absolutely disgusting what has become of a very proud and clean little village and I am emphasising the newly located taxi rank that is now situated on the corner of Link Road. The car garage must be totally embarrassed when they have to entertain customers.

I am sick to the pit of my stomach looking at all of the litter that is left daily by the free paying shop keepers and their customers, which is left to blow in the wind and makes this area look like a dumping site.

The taxi rank is an open area, it does not have any public toilets, so when the urge occurs, the individual just relieves themselves anywhere for all to see. The trolleys from the local shops are left on the verge to roll back onto the road, which at this stage is very narrow and a death trap. I hate to say this, but with all the pedestrians running to catch their transport each day, dodging the cars and motor cycles, it is inevitable that there is going to be a nasty accident very soon. The only motorists who go to and from their destinations happily are the taxi drivers
