Unbelievable kindness from a stranger

A reader thanks people for their support on a sad day.

EDITOR – Sometimes a kind offer to a complete stranger can mean more than words could ever express. On Saturday, 16 April, my most beloved horse died suddenly and tragically in my arms at the Shongweni Club.

I had to make an immediate decision as to where my Angel should go. The Lion Park was not an option.

Through the haze of shock, I was so kindly offered a place to lay my most magnificent horse to rest. To Mark and Leanne Cutting, I thank you with all my heart for your kind offer and for the swift, gentle manner in which you took care of what was too traumatic for me to handle.

Thank you to my family and all the wonderful people who comforted me.

Grateful

Kloof
