Law firm steps in to help resolve R300 000 Metro bill

Morris Fuller Williams Attorneys have taken up the case of the local couple's exorbitant Metro Bill.

EDITOR – We at Morris Fuller Williams Attorneys read your article in the Highway Mail on Wednesday, 11 January, about Graham and Dorothy Hardie’s ordeal with their hugely inflated Metro bill, which has been an ongoing problem since April 2016.

It was of concern to us that this elderly couple feel completely helpless and unsupported in trying to solve what seems to be an issue that should have been sorted out months ago.

Director, Andrew Leaker, and I met with Mr and Mrs Hardie and their son on Friday, 13 January to get all the facts. We assured them that Morris Fuller Williams Attorneys would assist them in resolving the issue once and for all.

We will keep you informed as to the progress of this matter and thank you reporting on this situation, which has caused untold stress and angst for Mr and Mrs Hardie.

Thank you for bringing community matters to light and giving us the opportunity to make a difference.
