I PLAYED tennis at Sherwood Tennis Club and we had a “Youngsters vs Oldies” tournament.
The young players were aged 29 and below and the oldies 30 years and older.
We had the same tournament at Hillcrest Bowling Club.
There the youngsters were 75 and under and the golden oldies were 76 and older.
The captain of the youngsters was a sprightly 61 and for the oldies, a very dapper 91 year old.
About 112 members had a great time, so, if you enjoy a Hansa or a glass of wine, want to make 200 new friends, go along and experience the fantastic camaraderie of the Hillcrest Bowling Club as a youngster or golden oldie.
