Project meeting not in Ward 10

I WOULD like to take this opportunity to respond to the letter from Dave Bird of Hillcrest, “No show from council at major project meeting”.

I think facts are important, and the facts are that I was not notified about this meeting and if I am not notified, I obviously cannot attend.

The reason I was most likely not notified is that as Mr Bird rightfully states, the project is in Ward 8 and not Ward 10.

Ward councillors are only notified of projects etc within their own ward.

Also a correction as to the geography of this project, the area concerned is adjacent to Ward 7 and not Ward 10.
