Kassier Road needs attention

"The road further disintegrates whenever we have heavy rain."

TO the roads department, Kassier Road in Hillcrest has been a matter of concern for some time. The road is one of the main entrances into Hillcrest and Botha’s Hill.

The road further disintegrates whenever we have heavy rain. Huge potholes and sinkholes await traffic when they glide off the M13 and join Kassier Road.

The other issue that the road department should consider is the fact that foliage casts a large percentage of shadow over the road, making most potholes invisible. It should be remembered that this is a high pedestrian road, placing them in danger when swerving cars try to avoid the holes.
