Good Samaritans change tyre

"We are really grateful to Matthew and his wife and their kind gesture proves that Good Samaritans still exist."

ON Wednesday, 29 August, my wife and I were travelling back from Durban along Manning Road to our home in Westville.

The noise of one of our rear tyres shredding and going flat forced us to stop on this busy and narrow stretch of road.

A white bakkie with hazard lights flashing pulled up behind us.

The occupants of the bakkie a young couple from Reservoir Hills who had been delivering bags, immediately offered to help and Matthew, the driver ,soon set about changing the wheel without any fuss.

We are really grateful to Matthew and his wife and their kind gesture proves that Good Samaritans still exist.
