ON behalf of the Rich and Bahalmn family, I wish to convey my heartfelt gratitude to the Crestholme community who came to our aid when our house caught fire on Wednesday, 14 April.
As a pensioner, I could not thank my neighbours enough for saving the house from total destruction.

Other neighbours were so kind to organise meals and for that, we are grateful.
The fire damaged the whole garage and everything that was stored in it.
My son lost so many items and a tenant lost all his tools, but we are grateful that no lives were lost which is the most important thing.
If it was not for our dog alerting my daughter and her getting everyone out and my neighbour’s quick reactions to contain the fire it could of been way worse.
