GUIDED walk in Springside Nature Reserve, Hillcrest will take place on Wednesday 9 October at 7.30 am, earlier starting time for summer,
everyone is welcome, there is no charge, donations accepted for ongoing conservancy projects.
People can appreciate all the natural flora and fauna in Springside Nauture Reserve. Easy walks on well maintained paths

Palmiet Nature Reserve
This month’s Palmiet Nature Reserve trail on Sunday 6 October will be led by knowledgeable environmentalist Nic Liebenberg.
The walk will leave at 8.30am from the car park of the Reserve in Old New Germany Road, Westville and hikers are advised to wear suitable walking shoes and take binoculars. There is no charge for the trail but donations to the reserve are appreciated.

Palmiet Nature Reserve is located in the rugged scenic Palmiet valley, and includes varying forest and grass landscapes. Hikers can enjoy the prolific bird life and interesting tree and plant species, using well-maintained paths totalling more than 12 kms.
