Water polo season ends in draw

Kearsney College and Westville Boys' High School ended their final match for the waterpolo season in a five all draw.

IN their final waterpolo fixture for the season, Westville Boys’ High School and Kearsney College played to a five all draw.WBHS started the game slowly going down two goals early in the game, they finally managed to pull a goal back from Richard Ogg after a number of good attacking opportunities. The first chukka ended 2-1 to Kearsney.

The second chukka was even with both teams missing chances at each end and at half time Kearsney were leading 3-1.

WBHS then dominated the third chukka defending well and levelling the game 3-3 with goals from Ryan Clark and Grant Hewitt at the end of the third chukka.

WBHS started the fourth chukka well with Chad Hosken scoring WBHS fourth goal, Grant Hewitt then scored his second of the game to give WBHS a two goal advantage. Kearsney then responded and scored two late goals to share the spoils at the end of the game.
