Athletes rake in the medals
The Westville Athletic Club congratulated its members on outstanding results kin the XC season.
WESTVILLE Athletics Club’s 2014 XC season ended on a successful note with each of them bringing home a medal or two, either as individuals or age category teams.
Aubrey Roberts and Andy Daly won silver medals in the men’s 55+ team. Ken Culverwell won silver in the men’s 50+ team. Les Smith won an individual silver medal in the men’s 65+ category and also in the men’s 65+ team.
Janine Engels won an individual bronze medal in the women 50+ category and also in the women 50+ team. Gill Tregenna won an individual silver medal in the women 70+ category and Kylie Griffin won a silver medal in the women 45+ team.
The club congratulated all these athletes on achieving such excellent results.
